We are pleased to announce that the Altmetrics Conference is returning for a 6th year, this time to the beautiful University of Stirling in Scotland on the 9th and 10th of October.

The theme for this year is ‘Bridging Worlds’, with a focus on connecting communities, cultures and topics that stretch beyond altmetrics alone.

Delegates from across the scholarly ecosystem are invited to come together to explore ideas, hear practical case studies and participate in engaging discussions on altmetrics, scholarly communication, research impact, networks and collaboration, data science and research policy.

The scholarly landscape is changing rapidly, and there has never been a more critical time to discuss these issues and find a way to make a difference for the benefit of our shared society.

A Do-a-thon will run on Tuesday the 8th, you can find further information on the Do-a-thon here and the Altmetrics Workshop (which is focussed on scientometric research) will run on Friday the 11th. You can find further information on the Altmetrics19 workshop here.
